The persistence of the crisis in Haiti calls for an urgent response, and the use of transitional justice through the application of its various judicial and extrajudicial mechanisms appears to be a relevant instrument. However, the process has already been tested in Haiti without prospering, hence possible reluctance about its return to deal with the Haitian situation. The transitional justice mechanism remains effective in resolving the Haitian context, but it still needs to evolve. It is in this respect that the setting in motion of transitional action will allow not only a mutation of the transitional process to adapt to new contexts, but also for the Republic of Haiti, through creative work, to become one with the people as a whole.
